This book is about the Croatization & Serbianization of Bosnian history - the denial of Bosnia’s existence as its own separate country & as Bosniaks as their own separate people with their own history, culture, language & existence prior to conversion to Islam - and how on the basis of this denial of Bosnia-Hercegovina & anything Bosnian the destruction of the country during the 90’s was supported & justified, both by Serbs & Croats and the rest of Europe.
Rusmir Mahmutcehajic also gives an analysis & Western involvement in the destruction of Bosnia (how they supported the Serb & Croat denial rhetoric) and he gives an analysis of the religious aspect (islamophobia / ingrained hatred towards Muslims played a huge role in the genocide, contrary to what your history book that claims what happend in BiH was a “civil war” will tell you).
This book also explains in depth all the “solutions” to the “Bosnian problem” suggested by Western powers and how they directly benefited the perpetrators and their goals (dividing Bosnia-Hercegovina into ethnic territories & now because of this division Bosniaks don’t feel safe in their own country, because they live right next to those that killed, raped & tortured them less than 20 years ago). This book also focus a lot on the crimes Croatians committed against Bosniaks. Most books about the genocide tend to focus on the Serb crimes only, but the only difference between the two is in which part of Bosnia-Hercegovina the crimes took place. Tudjman & Milosevic worked together on destroying Bosnia-Hercegovina. Tudjman said that his goal was to “Europeanize” Bosniaks, the same rhetoric Milosevic used.
